This is the blog of the Gastil Family Cooking School. We are trying out different recipes and different cookbooks in order to improve our basic skills, expand our cooking horizons, and eat some great food. This is a record of our experiences.
So far there are two members of the cooking school, Janet and David. There are other people who say they are honorary members, but we say just eating the food doesn’t make you an honorary anything. You have to help cook it. AND help wash the dishes.
Update, June 2015: Grant has joined the cooking class! His love of Asian soup and all things pork is definitely going to add some new flavors to the kitchen.
